A mountain lodge overlooking Oze Marsh, the largest marshland on Honshu, and a gateway to Mt. Shibutsu.

Oze Lodge stands in the Yamanohana area with a view of Oze Marshland.

About an hour’s walk from Hatomachi Pass —the gateway to Oze— it sits at the entrance to both Oze Marsh and the Mt. Shibutsu trail, making it an ideal base to fully enjoy hiking and trekking in Oze.

Right outside the lodge begins the wooden boardwalk to Oze Marshland, surrounded by the beautiful blossoms of mizubasho (white skunk cabbage).
